The Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City was the service project chosen for the team this winter. After an early Thursday practice the team members and coaches went to the House to prepare the evening meal and help with cleaning project. While some of the players helped in the kitchen preparing the spaghetti, others vacuumed, mopped, dusted, and cleaned.

It's the third game in four days and we came away with a BIG victory at Mt. Pleasant. This Monday night game was a make up game from a week ago during the snow storm. City wins by a score of 69 - 41.
Pizza and a Movie
A Sunday of pizza and a movie in the middle of four games in five days! The Team met at Sam's Pizza Sunday afternoon at 2:30 and consumed MANY pizzas. They enjoyed watching the Packers vs Cowboys as we ate.
Then off to the theater to see "Unbroken" a true WW II story of an Olympic athlete surviving months in the sea after being shot down from his fighter plane. Then his capture and endless abuse in the POW camp in Japan. It is a story of perseverance and forgiveness.
